Raf's Financial Dashboard
A personal finance web app for two people: income, spendings, budgets, timesheets, invoices and Australian tax in one dashboard, with Google Sheets as the database. Built end to end with Claude.
Please note: The screenshots show a demo version running on fictional data (clients, products, orders and numbers are all made up). The live system and its real data are private.
Challenge
Keep a household and a freelance business on top of money: where it comes from, where it goes, what is owed and what to set aside for tax, without paying for several apps.
What I did
- Dashboard with earnings vs spendings, category breakdown, cumulative income and net cash flow
- Monthly budgets with limits and progress per category
- Timesheets that turn hours into earnings automatically
- Invoice generator with client profiles, invoice history and paid status
- Tax tracker for the Australian financial year, fixed spendings and trip planning
- Works offline-first on any device, syncing to Google Sheets through Apps Script
